Get Support

Projects like Commlink are complicated enough that you likely run into some kind of bug - or miss something that you think should be in the application.

Known bugs

A daily list of reported bugs can be found here.

Report bugs

Instead of telling us of a problem via chat, we prefer to receive bug reports via our JIRA issue tracker. If you are likely to report more than one error, we recommend that you create an account, but you can just open new issues by identifying with a valid mail address. You can even use the "Report a Bug" function on this sites lower right corner as a reduced JIRA form.

How to report

If you want to report a bug, that only happens sometimes or when you are not sure what you did to run into that error, attach a copy of your Commlink logfile. The location is reported when you get an error dialog and you can find the logpath in the settings menu.

If you experience problems with a specific character, add the characters XML file as a ticket attachment. You can find the XML file by clicking on the "File open" icon on the character tile.

Suggest improvements

If you want to see what improvement suggestions our community has for Commlink, check out our feature request tracker.

If you want to vote for features or make own suggestions how to make the application even more usable or what feature you would like to see in Commlink, you need to create an account (it's free) there.

The votes are not a promise that features will be added in that order, but it helps me to see which features the community requires most.
